Everyday your walking on streets, if you turn on your wifi and search, you will find dozens of wifi connections. But it is no use when they are all encrypted. Even in hotels or restaurants, there are wifi connections. But they won’t give you the password. Or if your at home and have ran out of data, how nice it would be to just connect to your neighbors wifi, without having to worry about the password.
Well, actually there are a lot of ways to hack a wifi connection’s password using a laptop and a wifi hacking software. But that takes a lot of time and hassle. Especially when you don’t have a laptop with yourself or don’t have the time.
What if you could just connect to all those wifi connections as if they didn’t require passwords?
Well, I’m here to tell you that you can!
Thanks to years of hackers researching and finding WPS/WPA exploits, you can now easily hack a wifi hotspot using only your smart phone.
Note: You can hack wifi passwords using rooted or non rooted phone. But it is recommended that you use a rooted phone, as it adds a lot more functionality. If you are using a non rooted phone, you can only connect to the wifi access point, but you can’t see the PIN/Password.
Hacking Wifi Hotspot Using a Rooted Phone
Method 1: Using WPS Connect Tool
There are a lot of wifi hacking tools and apss on Android Play Store that can be used to crack wifi passwords, in this method we will be using WPS Connect App.
WPS Connect uses complex algorithms such as Zhao Chesung’s ComputePin and Stefan Viehbock easyboxPIN. Using these algorithms, the app searches for any vulnerabilities in wifi hotspot to find the password.
Here’s the Step-by-step guide on using the app to hack wifi on a rooted phone:
1. Download the app from play store and open it.
2. One the app and start scanning for avaliable wifi networks (using the “Scan” button)
3. Be patient and wait for the app to load the list of wifi networks
4. After the above process is complete, th app will show you all the details of all the in-range networks. Details such as MAC Address, signal strength, networ radio name and the encryption type the network is using to hide the password.
5. Choose the network you want to know the password of. Then tap on it’s name. A pop up box will show a list of PIN codes.
6. Choose the PIN and tap on Try button to start.
It may take a while to complete the process so be patient and wait for the app to do it’s work.
After the process is successful, you will have the password of the chosen wifi router! You can follow the same process to hack into any other networks.
Method 2: WIBR Plus
This is another wifi hacking tool app tha you can use to easily hack wifi passwrds.
The process is quite simple. Since this app is not on Play Store, you need to dowunload it from it’s official website. Afterwards install the app and open it.
Choose your target wifi network and theapp will offer you two different waysto try to hack into the network, Bruenforce and Dictionary Attack. In case of Bruteforce Attack, you will need to import a wordlist of passwords the app needs to use to bruteforce. You can also choose to use the apps wordlist.
After choosing your attack method, you ned to wait until the attack is finished. Ifthe attack was successful, you will have the password of the wifi network ad gain full access to the connection.
Hacking WiFi Hotspot Using a Non-Rooted Phone
Method 1: Using WPS WPA Tester app
WPS WPA Tester is an android Application for hacking Wifi Networks wthout having to root.
The app is fairly easy to use and the procss is fairly simple.
Simply start by downloading the app from android market. Install and open th app to see a list of WPS enabled wifi networks around you.
Every network is color coded. If it’s green, it means you can hack the network easily, as opposed to orange andred color. Tap on the green network ad choose the connect option and No-Root option to hack the wifi network.
Method 2: using WPS Connect App
The WPS Connect App also works withou rooting. To use the app to hack wifi, you can follow the steps on rooted method.
