How To Install Kali NetHunter on Any Android Phone

Kali NetHunter is an android ROM made for security researchers and hackers. It’s made by Offensive Security, the team behind Kali Linux. If you ever wanted to do hacking on your phone, NetHunter is the best thing, other than Termux.To install and run Kali NetHunter on your phone, you will need root. You can’t install custom ROM without root.The developers of Kali NetHunter made it specifically for older Nexus and OnePlus devices, but some users have found a way to make it run on almost any android devices. This is not an official method so proceed at your own risk.Preparing your phoneBefore we proceed, you will need to prepare your phone for installation.Here are the required steps to prepare your phone:

1. Your phone has to be rooted
2. Your phone should have enough free space
3. Your phone should have BusyBox installed. You can get it from Play Store. Or click on this link to be redirected there.
4. Just in case anything goes wrong, back up your phone

That’s all. Now to proceed with the installation of NetHunter, follow these simple steps below

1. Download Kali Nethunter from the given links.
2. Extract it to the root of your storage (sdcard/emulated/0 or “internal storage”)
3. Open a terminal emulator app [download Termux from here if you don’t have a terminal emulator on your phone]
4. Type “su” to give root permission.
5. Type “sh /sdcard/install_nh/nethunter.sh”
6. Now wait until it’s done.
7. Now it’s installed, so type exit or close the emulator and go to NetHunter app.
8. That’s it!

Now that Kali is installed on your phone, you might wanna get all of it’s features and apps on it, since only Kali NetHunter app is installed and not all of the tools that come with it.To install the app fully, you need to download the full NetHunter, or you can just download the minimum files to get it working. Download links are at the end of the post.To install full chroot, just open Kali and choose either full or minimum chroot and it will install it for you.Things to do after installing Kali for the first time:

• Update and upgrade all the packages

• This is important because most of the packages are likely to be out of date and might cause errors. It’s impotant to have them updated. To update all the packages, type “apt-get update” and hit enter. Then to upgrade, type “apt-get upgrade”. Also type “apt-get dist-upgrade” this will have everything updated to minimize errors.
• Learn how to install packages, scripts or programs.

• If you need any programs or scripts, search for it on GitHub. And to install the programs, copy the link to the programs. Type “sudo apt-get instal git” to install git. Now type “git clone <the link to the github page of the programs>” and that’ll do. You can run the program by navigating to it’s folder using “ls”, to see inside a folder and “cd Downloads” to enter a folder.
